Programming the address for your OOH941 Multi Criteria Fire Detector is straightforward. You'll need the Model DPU Device Programming Unit to set the address. For detailed instructions, consult the DPU Manual, document number P/N 315-033260. Remember to record the loop and device number (loop address) on both the detector label and the base to avoid any installation errors. You can use an optional DPU label printer for this. Each detector needs a unique address between 001 and 252. The OOH941 has two alarm channels: a multi-criteria (UL268) and direct in-duct (UL268A) channel with additional heat detection, plus a dedicated heat (UL521) channel. These channels can be used at the same time and are configured independently through your fire alarm control panel. For specific panel configuration steps, refer to the operational manual of your control panel.
