Keeping your Avalon A1WATERCOOLER water dispenser clean ensures fresh, safe water. Here's a step-by-step guide to cleaning and sanitizing, based on the user manual: First, unplug the unit and turn off both the cooling and heating switches. Rinse the inside of the unit by pouring water into the top where the bottle sits, then dispense about 2 liters of water from both the hot and cold water spouts into a bucket. Next, drain the remaining water by placing a bucket under the drain outlet on the back and removing the drain cover. Be sure any hot water has cooled before draining. After draining, dispense any remaining water from the hot and cold spouts into a bucket. To clean the cold tank and remove mineral buildup, mix 4 liters of water with 200g of citric acid crystals or a cleaning solution suitable for water dispensers. Remove the bottle supporter, pour the mixture into the cold tank, ensuring it can flow out the hot water spout. Plug in the power cord and turn on the heating switch for 15 minutes, then turn it off and let the solution cool for 20 minutes. Drain the solution from the drain outlet and flush the system with fresh water two or three times using the rinsing instructions. Finally, reassemble the dispenser and use it as usual. Remember to clean and sanitize your Avalon A1WATERCOOLER approximately every six months for optimal performance and water quality.
