You'll need a Phillips screwdriver, pliers, wire strippers, safety glasses, electrical tape, and a ladder. Safety first: turn off the power at your circuit breaker! Now, let's begin the assembly: Loosely attach screws (AA) and hex nuts (DD) to the round mounting plate (CC). Adjust the length of the screws to match your fixture canopy. Attach the mounting plate assembly to your outlet box using its screws, ensuring a secure fit. Next, lift the sconce to the mounting surface and pass screws (AA) through the mounting holes on the fixture's canopy. Adjust the screw length to show about 3/16" of threads. Tighten hex nuts (DD) against the round mounting plate (CC). Now, strip 3/8" of insulation from the wire ends and connect the fixture wires to your home's wires using wire nuts (BB): white to white, black to black. Don't forget the ground wires! Slide the fixture over screws (AA) and tighten it with cylinder nuts (EE). Insert the correct lamps (not included), use 60-watt MAX incandescent candelabra base lamp, SBCFL, or SBLED.
