Setting up your Agitato A323 2-Pack Deer Trail Camera for the first time is straightforward. Here's how to install the batteries and SD card: First, open the compartment cover, which is located on the bottom of the camera. Insert eight 1.5V AA Alkaline or Lithium batteries, ensuring you match the polarity. The negative or 'flat' end of each battery should align with the long spring inside the battery slot. For optimal performance and battery life, we suggest using Energizer AA Lithium batteries. Once the batteries are correctly inserted, close the battery compartment cover securely. Next, locate the SD card slot, also on the bottom of the camera. Insert the SD card with the label facing up until you hear a 'click,' indicating it's properly installed. To remove the SD card, gently push it in until it releases from the slot. Remember to power off the camera before inserting or removing the SD card or batteries. The Agitato A323 2-Pack Deer Trail Camera supports standard-size SD memory cards up to 512GB (Class 10). For the best balance of cost and performance, we recommend a SanDisk 32GB SDHC/Class 10 memory card. It's also a good idea to format the SD card within the camera before you start using it. For more detailed guidance, please consult the instruction manual that came with your camera.
