To configure the DEMA Probeless Detergent Control Board for your commercial dish machine, follow these steps. First, ensure all electrical power to the dish machine and any associated circuits is switched off. Adhere to all lockout and tag procedures. Never open the DEMAMaster unless power has been turned off. For liquid detergent applications, prime the pump system on the DEMAMaster by pressing the "Detergent Prime" button. The system is primed when the chemical has filled the pump discharge tubing up to the injection point on the dish machine. Next, calibrate the detergent using the DIP switches on the control board to maintain the desired detergent concentration. The 6 DIP Switch Bank is used to set different modes of operation. Switch 1 is for mode selection. Other settings include initial charge time, dead cycle count (Door Mode only), dwell time (Conveyor Mode only), recharge time, and initial charge clock (Door Mode only). To operate, press and hold "Detergent Prime" until the pump and lines are fully primed, then release. Set the DIP switches as needed and press and release "Detergent Prime" for the initial charge and to reset the Initial Charge Clock. Note that the DEMAMaster probeless board has a 5-second delay when powered up, meaning the detergent pump or valve will not operate until continuous power is supplied for at least 5 seconds. Always refer to your DEMA Probeless Detergent Control Board user manual for detailed instructions and safety information.
