First, remove any existing handguards and bar-end weights from your motorcycle. Begin on the right side, and for the left side, use the clamp connector (part 5). Assemble the clamp loosely to the handlebar, referencing the provided diagram, and reuse the OEM bar end weight. Next, attach the handguard backbone (part 1) to both the handlebar end and the clamp connector (part 5) using the appropriate provided parts. Position the backbone horizontally when viewed from the side. Tighten all bolts in the following sequence: (9), (8), (3), and then (6). Remember to adhere to the recommended torque settings: M6 bolts to 10 Nm (7.4 lbf ft) and M8 bolts to 20 Nm (14.8 lbf ft). Safety is paramount; if you're uncertain about any step, consider professional installation to avoid potential damage.
