The spare tire of the Sylphy is located under the partition in the trunk of the car. Placing it here is convenient as it can be directly taken out when needed for replacement, and it does not occupy other storage space. A spare tire refers to an additional tire prepared for the car. In case of a flat tire or any issue with any of the wheels, the spare tire can be promptly replaced, preventing the car from breaking down midway. The Sylphy is a compact car under Dongfeng Nissan, with dimensions of 4641 mm in length, 1815 mm in width, and 1450 mm in height, and a wheelbase of 2712 mm. In terms of suspension, the Sylphy features a MacPherson strut independent front suspension and a torsion beam non-independent rear suspension.

I've been driving a Sylphy for five years, and the spare tire location is indeed quite hidden. You need to lift up the trunk floorboard and look for a circular cover near the seat area. Twist the central bolt firmly to remove it, then pull open the cover to access the spare tire. Remember there's a foam box next to the spare containing the jack and tool kit - this set can be neatly stored in the trunk compartment. I recommend checking the spare tire pressure monthly as it tends to lose pressure over time when unused. Note that this vehicle comes with a temporary spare (space-saver tire) which shouldn't exceed 80 km/h. When retrieving the spare, it's best to empty the trunk first - last time I found mine blocked by piled-up items.

Checking the spare tire on the Nissan Sylphy is quite simple. Open the trunk and lift the floor mat, and you'll find a circular cover in the center. Rotate the metal nut counterclockwise to open it. The spare tire is secured in a recess, with a yellow plastic wrench and jack tucked beside it. To remove it, press down on the tire tread and pull outward, otherwise it might get stuck on the wheel rim edge. Nissan's wheel holder has a small mechanism. The spare tire is much narrower than the original, so avoid using it on highways for temporary purposes. Nowadays, many cars have replaced spare tires with tire repair kits, but the Sylphy's traditional setup feels more reassuring.

The Nissan Sylphy's spare tire is hidden in the lower compartment of the trunk. Lift the carpet to reveal a black plastic cover, then unscrew the large silver nut counterclockwise to access it. Around the spare tire well, you'll find the triangular warning sign and jack securely stored. Remember to engage the parking brake and shift into 'P' before changing tires - there's an illustrated guide on the side of the spare tire well. Important reminder: the spare tread depth is only about 5mm, so don't exceed 100km of driving. Once I encountered a fellow driver using a flat spare tire - he didn't realize the car comes with an electric air pump. When retrieving tools, remember to first remove the foam storage tray.

Just helped my neighbor with the Nissan Sylphy's spare tire issue. Open the trunk and lift the floorboard - that round disk with a knob is the spare tire mount. Turn it counterclockwise to the end, and the spare will naturally pop up about 2cm. Then grab the wheel hub groove and lift upwards, which is much easier than pulling the tire directly. The black elongated toolkit beside it contains a cross wrench and jack handle for use with the jack. The Sylphy's design is thoughtful, with a dedicated storage space for the original tire in the spare tire well. However, since non-full-size spare tires affect driving stability, it's recommended to visit a tire repair shop promptly for punctured tire replacement.

When handling the spare tire of the Sylphy, familiarize yourself with three key locations. The main storage area is under the trunk floor panel, requiring the removal of the central fixing nut. When lifting the floor panel, be mindful of the snap-fit structure, with six plastic tabs on the side that need to be released simultaneously. After removing the spare tire, don't rush to close the lid—the dedicated towing hook is hidden on the left side. The jack is stored in a small hidden compartment directly behind the spare tire. I've seen people mistakenly use the fuel cap wrench as the jack handle. When actually changing a tire, ensure to support the vehicle's metal side rail. The Sylphy's chassis has marked jacking points located ten centimeters behind the front wheels.

What Causes Motorcycle Handlebar Vibration?

Motorcycle handlebar vibration can be attributed to the following reasons: Loose bolts: This includes front and rear axle nuts, swingarm pivot nuts, steering stem nuts, shock absorber mounting bolts, and other bolts directly related to motorcycle stability. Excessive clearance: Excessive play in the steering stem, front/rear wheel bearings, or rear swingarm can cause this issue. The primary causes of excessive clearance, apart from improper adjustment, are excessive wear of corresponding components. Deformed parts: Improper operation or other factors during use may lead to deformation of front/rear wheels, front shock absorbers, or the frame. Tire pressure: Front and rear tire pressures must be properly maintained - both overinflation and underinflation can cause body sway. Additionally, loose wheel spokes may also contribute to handlebar vibration.

What is the function of the motorcycle master cylinder?

The motorcycle master cylinder has the following two functions: generating hydraulic pressure: the hydraulic pressure pushes the slave cylinder piston to press the brake pads for braking. preventing brake fluid leakage: it prevents the brake fluid from leaking out. The introduction to the motorcycle master cylinder is as follows: storing brake fluid: the master cylinder is used to store brake fluid. When braking, operating the brake lever generates hydraulic pressure, which drives the slave cylinder to press the brake pads and clamp the brake disc on the front wheel to achieve braking. observing brake fluid: the transparent window next to the master cylinder is used to observe the brake fluid. The fluid level should reach half of the window, or as long as the fluid is visible, it is sufficient.
