
It may be due to faulty spark plugs. Spark plugs are critical components in a car's ignition system, which in turn determines whether the vehicle's engine (the heart of the car) functions properly. Therefore, the operational performance and efficiency of the vehicle depend heavily on whether the spark plugs are working correctly. Inspect the ignition system to rule out causes of low ignition energy, such as spark plug electrode gap, ignition coil energy, and the condition of high-voltage wires. Below are measures for automotive generators: 1. Monitor bearing wear: If insufficient lubrication is detected, add a few drops of oil through the oil cup opening, but ensure it does not seep into the commutator, as this could impair electrical transmission. 2. Smooth uneven brush contact surfaces with fine sandpaper: Replace the brush if the spring elasticity is insufficient or if the brush is excessively worn. If the brush is too short but intact, use shims in the holder to ensure tight contact with the commutator. 3. Ensure the generator's dust seal is secure: Never remove it, as dust ingress can lead to mechanical failures.
