Before You Start
- Safety First Choose a location away from moisture and flammable materials like curtains or furniture. Make sure to maintain the minimum clearances specified in your manual around all sides of the fireplace.
Recessed Installation
- Prepare the Opening For recessed installations, cut a hole in your wall according to the dimensions in your Mondawe IF-1330TCL manual.
- Secure the Box Attach the provided wall anchors to each side of the fireplace box, following the manual's dimensions.
- Remove the Glass Carefully remove the glass panel by unscrewing the side screws. Have someone help you to hold the glass.
- Place and Secure Position the fireplace box in the wall opening and secure it with the provided screws.
- Lock it in If the fireplace is fully recessed, use the provided screws to lock it into the wall using the side flanges.
- Add the Media Install the log set or crystal embers and reattach the glass front.
Wall-Mounted Installation
- Choose a Spot Select a location at least 36 inches away from combustible materials.
- Position the Fireplace Have two people hold the appliance against the wall to determine the final placement.
- Mount the Bracket Attach the bracket(s) to the wall using the supplied screws, ensuring it's level and the hooks face up.
- Hang the Fireplace Lift the appliance and insert the hooks on the bracket into the slots on the back of the appliance. Use the original screws to fasten the wall bracket.
- Final Check Ensure the fireplace is stable and the bracket is securely attached.
- Attach the Front Panel Place the front panel and lock the appliance into place.
