To replace the cartridge in your Moen faucet with an Everbilt 69943 Hot-Cold Cartridge, follow these steps: First, shut off the water supply to the faucet and release any remaining pressure by opening the tap. Next, find the handle button on the faucet and carefully remove it using a screwdriver or similar tool. Underneath the button, you'll find a screw; unscrew and remove it. Locate the retainer clip on the faucet body and remove it using a screwdriver or pliers. Now, you can reattach the handle temporarily and gently pull the old cartridge out. If the cartridge is stuck, consider using the Moen cartridge removal tool (Part # 1006964489) for assistance. Once the old cartridge is out, insert the new Everbilt 69943 Hot-Cold Cartridge using the plastic alignment tool included with the replacement. Reinstall the retainer clip, handle, and button in reverse order. Finally, turn the water back on and check for any leaks. Please remember that handle images in manuals are for reference only and aren't included with the replacement cartridge.
