To connect multiple SDI devices to the Singmai SM20 and ensure proper signal distribution, begin by connecting the SM20 to a power source using the AC/DC adaptor. This adaptor supports AC voltage from 100 to 240VAC. Then, connect the 5VDC jack from the adaptor to the +5VDC ‘Power in’ socket on the SM20. Next, connect your SDI video source to the ‘SDI In’ BNC port on the SM20. The SM20 is compatible with various SDI standards, including SMPTE 259M, SMPTE 292M, SMPTE 296M, SMPTE 372M, and SMPTE 425M. Finally, connect any or all of the four ‘SDI Out’ BNC ports to your SDI-compatible devices. Each ‘SDI Out’ port delivers an equalized and re-clocked copy of the video input. For detailed technical specifications and additional information, please consult the user manual that came with your Singmai SM20.
