Charging your Milwaukee L4HL2301 Redlithium USB Hard Hat Headlamp is straightforward. Follow these steps: First, connect your USB cable to a power source, such as a wall adapter, a computer, or your car's USB port. Next, locate the USB Type C port on the headlamp; it's usually concealed behind a rubber cover, which you'll need to lift to access it. Insert the USB Type C plug into this port on the headlamp. Keep in mind that charging times might be longer when using a laptop or certain other power sources. The headlamp's indicator light will show the charging progress: A pulsing red light means it's charging and is between 0-49% charged. A pulsing yellow light indicates it's charging and is between 50-99% charged. A solid green light signifies a full 100% charge. If the light flashes red and green, it might indicate an issue. In this case, ensure the is correctly seated. If the problem continues, check if the battery is excessively hot, cold, or wet. Allow it to adjust to room temperature or dry out before trying again. If the issue persists, contact a MILWAUKEE® service center for help.
