Setting up your YI Dome Camera U is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to get started: First, download the YI Home App from your app store and create or log in to your YI Home account. Make sure your smartphone is connected to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network, as the camera doesn't support 5 GHz networks. Enable location services on your phone and grant the YI Home app permission to access them. In the YI Home app, tap the '+' icon in the top-right corner, then select 'YI Dome Camera U'. Tap 'I heard 'Waiting to connect''. Enter your Wi-Fi password and select your Wi-Fi network. Next, point your phone's screen, displaying the QR code, towards the camera lens until you hear the confirmation messages 'QR code is successful, connecting to Wi-Fi' and 'Wi-Fi is connected'. Tap 'Next'. You should then hear 'Pairing is successful, you can start using your camera now' from both the app and the camera. Finally, give your camera a name and tap 'Save'.
