If you need to clear the calibration stroke on your SSC Series Electronic Valve Actuator, perhaps after moving it to a new valve, here's how. This process ensures the actuator relearns the valve's parameters for optimal performance. First, remove the terminal cover using a Phillips head screwdriver. Next, locate the hole on the circuit board that contains the shorting bars. With the power to the unit turned on, use a flat-blade screwdriver to gently connect the shorting bars. This action initiates a new calibration stroke. Finally, replace the terminal cover, securing it in place. Following these steps ensures your SSC Series Electronic Valve Actuator is calibrated correctly.
