After Each Use:
- Remove the mask and top housing, and wipe them dry with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Empty any remaining water from the water reservoir, and wipe the reservoir and base with a dry, clean cloth or paper towel. Avoid immersing the base in water or any liquid.
- Reassemble the top housing and mask, and store the inhaler in a cool, dry place.
Weekly Maintenance:
- Remove the mask and top housing.
- Pour 2.5 tablespoons (40mL) of undiluted distilled white vinegar into the water reservoir, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Empty the vinegar, and rinse the water reservoir thoroughly with fresh, clean tap water, taking care to avoid getting water into the electrical components.
- Dry the water reservoir and base with a clean cloth or paper towel.
- Wash the mask with mild soap and warm water, then rinse all soap off with fresh, clean tap water. Dry it with a clean cloth or paper towel.
