Activating and using the gesture sensing feature on your FENIX WH23R headlamp is straightforward. Here's how: To toggle the sensing function on or off, start with the headlamp powered on. Press and hold the electronic switch for about 1.2 seconds. The headlamp will flash eight times at Turbo mode, and the blue sensing indicator light will switch off, signaling that the sensing function is deactivated. Repeat this process by holding the electronic switch for 1.2 seconds. The headlamp will flash twice at Turbo mode, and the blue sensing indicator light will turn on, indicating the gesture sensing is now active. When the sensing function is enabled (blue indicator on), you can control the light by waving your hand within approximately 10cm in front of the headlamp. A wave will temporarily turn the light off. Wave your hand again to restore the light. Note that if the sensing function is off (blue indicator off), it will not respond to hand gestures. Keep in mind that the sensing range can be influenced by factors such as the material and color of the object, ambient light, brightness, and your waving speed. The gesture sensing utilizes infrared technology and only controls the on/off state of the light, not the brightness level. When gesture sensing is enabled and the light is off, the headlamp consumes power in standby mode.
