To connect your wireless thermostat to the Seitron DR R02M Thermostat Wireless Kit receiver, you'll need to follow a self-learning process. Here's how to link your thermostat to the receiver: First, switch on the receiver; its LEDs will blink during initialization. Then, activate the wireless thermostat or programmable thermostat in "test" mode. In this mode, the transmitter repeatedly sends ON and OFF commands every two seconds. Next, press the self-learning button for the channel you want to use on the receiver (button A for channel 1, button B for channel 2). The for that channel will blink quickly in yellow. When a test command is received, the LED will turn solid yellow for seven seconds, during which the receiver memorizes the strongest signal. After seven seconds, the LED will flash red-green-red-green to confirm the transmitter address has been saved. The receiver will then return to normal operation, and the channel output relay will switch ON and OFF every two seconds, based on the test mode commands. Test the signal strength by placing the transmitter where you want it and ensure you only test one transmitter at a time to prevent signal overlap. Once you confirm the signal strength is satisfactory, proceed with the final mechanical and electrical installation. Following these steps ensures your wireless thermostat properly communicates with the Seitron DR R02M receiver, allowing you to control your heating or cooling system effectively.
