Converting your Arclight Pro Clipless LED Bicycle Pedals from a dual-sided clipless setup to flat pedals is straightforward. Here's a guide to help you: Firstly, to remove the clipless mechanism, you'll need a T10 Torx wrench or bit. Use it to unscrew the four bolts securing each clipless mechanism. This process will allow you to either convert to a single-sided clipless pedal or a fully flat pedal. If you later decide to reinstall the clipless mechanism, ensure they are correctly positioned with the spring facing towards the rear of your bike when the mechanism is oriented right-side up. Incorrect installation may cause your shoe to get stuck, potentially leading to injury. When reattaching the bolts, tighten them to 2.5 Nm. Finally, if you're aiming for a flat pedal configuration, remember to install the traction pins on the flat side(s) after completing either step. It's unsafe to use the flat side without the traction pins in place. By carefully following these steps, you can safely and effectively switch your Arclight Pro pedals to suit your riding style.
