Why is Harley air-cooled?

Harley is air-cooled because it has a water-cooled engine. How Harley works: First, the V-twin structure of Harley is inherently more complex than a single-cylinder or inline configuration. Additionally, it is one of the few motorcycles where the gearbox and crankcase are independent, with separate lubrication systems. The crankshaft connects to the gearbox via a driveshaft, and the gearbox then drives the rear wheel through a belt. Most air-cooled engines are also pushrod engines, which inherently operate at lower RPMs. Harley belongs to the American cruiser category, designed for long-distance touring. Air-cooled vs. water-cooled: In terms of cooling efficiency, water-cooling is superior, but air-cooling is relatively simpler.
