The Lynk & Co 02 is the second model of the Lynk & Co brand, positioned as a high-energy coupe SUV, built on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform. In terms of body dimensions, the Lynk & Co 02 measures 4448mm in length, 1890mm in width, and 1528mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2702mm. It is equipped with 215/60R17 tires and has a ground clearance of 201mm, ensuring SUV-level off-road capability.

I've previously done some in-depth research on the Lynk & Co 02's engine issues. This car uses Volvo's Drive-E series engine. Although Lynk & Co is a brand under , it directly adopts Volvo's engine technology. I personally drive the 2.0T version of the Lynk & Co 02, and its power tuning is very solid - quick off the line, stable acceleration, and plenty of power for hill climbing and overtaking. Volvo's engine technology is quite mature, with fast turbo response and reasonable fuel consumption control, averaging about 9L/100km in city driving. I heard it shares the same engine as the XC40, but costs tens of thousands less - definitely a great bargain.

The Lynk & Co 02's engine utilizes technology, belonging to the Drive-E series of turbocharged engines. Compared to vehicles in the same price range, this engine's advantage lies in its low-end torque performance, delivering maximum torque at just 1500 RPM, making it effortless to follow traffic during congestion. The design incorporates centrally-mounted direct injection technology, ensuring high combustion efficiency, and after driving for over two years, carbon buildup issues are not noticeable. Remember to use 0W-20 full synthetic oil, with maintenance at the 4S shop costing around 800 per service.

I've researched that both the 1.5T and 2.0T engines in the Lynk & Co 02 are Volvo's Drive-E units. The powertrain matching is well executed, particularly with the intelligent shift logic of the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The engine bay has a compact layout but features reasonable cooling design - the temperature gauge barely moves when climbing hills with AC on during summer. Actual ownership costs are lower than expected, running on 92-octane fuel with fuel consumption consistently between 8-10L/100km.

The Lynk & Co 02 is equipped with two engine options: a 1.5T three-cylinder focused on fuel efficiency, and a 2.0T four-cylinder prioritizing performance. During my test drive, I found the 2.0T version particularly responsive with excellent throttle feedback, delivering noticeable acceleration in sport mode. Technically, this engine features direct injection and dual VVT, producing around 190 horsepower. Surprisingly smooth in daily driving, the three-cylinder's vibration control is impressive with minimal steering wheel feedback.
