Where is the carbon canister located on the Geely Emgrand?

Geely Emgrand's carbon canister is installed on the vehicle frame behind the left rear wheel, towards the right rear side. Function of the carbon canister: To direct vapors into combustion, preventing them from evaporating into the atmosphere. Working principle of the carbon canister: The carbon canister is part of the gasoline evaporation control system, which was introduced to prevent fuel vapors from escaping into the atmosphere after the engine stops running. Since 1995, China has mandated that all newly manufactured vehicles must be equipped with this system. After the engine is turned off, gasoline vapors mix with fresh air inside the canister and are stored in the activated carbon canister. When the engine starts, the solenoid valve between the activated carbon canister and the intake manifold opens, allowing the gasoline vapors in the activated carbon canister to be drawn into the cylinders by the vacuum in the intake pipe, where they participate in combustion.
