BYD sells cars primarily in China, which is its home market and the world's largest automotive market. However, its global expansion is accelerating rapidly. As of now, BYD has a significant and growing presence across Europe, Asia-Pacific, Latin America, and the Middle East. In the United States, BYD does not currently sell passenger cars to consumers. Instead, its U.S. operations are focused on selling commercial vehicles, such as electric buses, forklifts, and medium-duty trucks, through specific business divisions.

The company's international strategy involves establishing regional partnerships and local assembly plants to cater to different markets. For example, in Europe, BYD vehicles are available in countries like Germany, Norway, and the UK through authorized dealership networks. In Southeast Asia, Thailand has become a major manufacturing hub for right-hand drive models. The pace of expansion is swift, with new market announcements happening frequently.

If you're in the U.S. and interested in a BYD car, you'll have to look to other available EVs for now. But given its global trajectory, it's a brand to watch closely for future market entries.

Right now, you can't just walk into a dealership in the U.S. and buy a BYD car for your driveway. They're all over the place in other countries, but here, they only sell big stuff like electric buses to cities and companies. I see their buses around my city. So for a personal car, you're out of luck stateside, but they're huge everywhere else.

From a business perspective, BYD's market presence is strategically segmented. In North America, they've prioritized the commercial vehicle sector, where regulations and incentives for electric mass transit are strong. This allows them to build a brand footprint and infrastructure without the immense challenge of competing in the saturated U.S. passenger car market against entrenched players. Their consumer-facing sales are concentrated in regions with high EV adoption rates and less established competition.

I follow the EV market closely, and BYD's expansion is fascinating. They're already a dominant force in China and Europe. While they aren't in America yet for regular cars, their global growth suggests it's a matter of 'when,' not 'if.' They're building factories in key regions like Thailand and Brazil to supply local markets, which is a classic move before entering a complex market like the U.S. Keep an eye on news about their plant in Mexico; that could be a stepping stone.

As a car enthusiast, it's frustrating that we don't get BYD's passenger cars in the States. Models like the Seal sedan are getting rave reviews overseas for their performance and tech, directly challenging Tesla. You can find them in over 50 countries, from Norway to Australia. For Americans, our only direct experience is seeing their quiet, electric buses on city routes. It feels like we're missing out on one of the most interesting EV makers in the world.

How to open the BYD F3 car key?

Nowadays, most cars come with two keys, one for regular use and the other as a spare. However, it's important to note that the spare key should not be kept inside the car. If the car doesn't have a spare key at all, you can also seek help from a 4S store, as they all provide after-sales rescue services—just make a phone call. Contacting a locksmith company is also an emergency solution, but remember to choose a qualified and reputable company.

How to Open the Windshield Washer Fluid?

To add windshield washer fluid, first open the hood. There is a handle in the lower left corner of the driver's compartment; pull it upward firmly. Then, in the middle of the hood, usually near the car emblem, feel for a device that can be moved left or right. After lifting the hood, if it has hydraulic struts, simply push the hood to the top and insert the strut into the hood's slot. For liquid concentrated washer fluid, the correct sequence is to first pour the concentrate into the reservoir, then add water. This helps dilute the concentrate more effectively.

How to Operate the Rearview Mirror Heating Function on BMW 530li

The rearview mirror heating function is not available on all vehicles, so you need to check whether your vehicle is equipped with it. Before using the rearview mirror heating, ensure that the vehicle is in the started state. When turning on the rearview mirror heating switch, be careful not to confuse it with the front windshield defogger/defroster. The switch marked with a green circle is the button for front windshield defogging and defrosting. After pressing the rearview mirror heating switch, the indicator light on the button will illuminate, and the heating element will rapidly reach a set temperature within a few minutes.

How to Remove the Central Control Screen of Baojun 560?

Before removal, it is recommended to apply several layers of paper tape on the outer frame. The clips are too close and may easily scratch the console. There are two insertion points at the bottom of the outer frame. Use a stainless steel pry tool to insert and lift, prying towards both sides. There will be another insertion point at the lower corner. When both sides reach the uppermost corner, use two pry tools to forcefully lift from both sides. There are also six plastic clips on the surface, which must be pried out.
