Car modification enthusiasts have unique mirror adjustment techniques. Lowrider owners tilt the right mirror upward by 15 degrees to see traffic lights, while lowering the left mirror to avoid glare. On racetracks, they angle the center rearview mirror 30 degrees to monitor rear wheels for clearer drift dynamics. For regular drivers: manually tilt side mirrors downward when parking to see curbs, and push the right mirror two finger-widths outward during highway cruising to avoid backseat obstructions.

Driving instructors' most common critique is misaligned rearview mirrors. The three-mirror coordination method is highly practical: 1. When a vehicle approaches from behind, it should disappear from the left mirror first, then immediately appear in the center mirror; 2. During straight-line driving, the right lane marking should appear as a slight curve in the right mirror; 3. The rear wheel position in the reversing mirror is always half a meter closer than anticipated. Owners who frequently carry passengers should remember to readjust the right mirror, as full load causes rear suspension sag that affects the angle. After parking, fold the mirrors inward—this prevents scratches while resetting your viewing perspective.
