Actually, 60-inch suitcases are quite rare. Last time I helped a friend with research, I found that the conventional maximum is usually 32 inches. If we strictly calculate based on the total of three sides adding up to 60 inches, it would be an odd combination like 33 inches (84cm) in length, 22 inches (56cm) in width, and 5 inches (13cm) in height. However, in reality, when buying luggage, you need to check airline regulations—a 60-inch suitcase would definitely require checked baggage, and the oversized baggage fee would be painfully expensive.

My 28-inch checked luggage has a total linear dimension of just over 50 inches, so I'm really curious how big a 60-inch one would be. I estimated it to be roughly 102×68×25 cm? But this size is actually very impractical - the wheels can't support the weight, and the telescopic handle is prone to deformation. It's better to use two separate 28-inch suitcases instead, which can also prevent back strain during transportation.

A 60-inch suitcase? Sounds like a moving container! Regular luggage is typically labeled with sizes like 20-inch or 28-inch, which refer to the total sum of the three dimensions in inches. If you really want an oversized suitcase, make sure to check the airline's size restrictions—for example, Air China's economy class requires the total length, width, and height not to exceed 158cm, equivalent to 62 inches, which is right at the limit.

Once at the airport, I saw a giant suitcase that almost couldn't fit through the check-in counter. Upon asking, I found out it was 60 inches. Converted to standard measurements, it's about 152cm in perimeter (76cm length × 50cm width × 26cm height), equivalent to a fully packed 40kg. But I really don't recommend buying one—it's too heavy to push, and the fabric body might burst at the corners, while hard-shell cases are shockingly expensive.

We often get confused by the dimensions when buying suitcases. A 60-inch size actually corresponds to a 152 cm circumference. Comparing it to the most common luggage sizes: a 20-inch carry-on has a circumference of about 80 cm, and a 28-inch checked suitcase measures 118 cm. That's over 30% larger. The worst is encountering those small security scanners at transfer airports—having to unpack and repack on the spot is just too embarrassing.

Where is the air intake for the recirculation mode located?

The air intake for the recirculation mode is located beneath the glove compartment on the passenger side, controlled by the same partition as the fresh air intake. Advantages of vehicle recirculation mode: The recirculation mode primarily functions to promptly and effectively block external dust and harmful gases from entering the vehicle cabin. For instance, it prevents harmful exhaust emissions from preceding vehicles when driving through areas with smoke, dust, unpleasant odors, or dense traffic. Disadvantages of vehicle recirculation mode: Prolonged use of recirculation mode may degrade the air quality inside the vehicle, potentially causing symptoms like dizziness. It is advisable to switch to fresh air mode for a few minutes after using recirculation mode for a while, allowing fresh air to enter and improve cabin air quality.
