How to use the M gear in IZOA?

Depress the brake pedal of the automatic transmission. Press the one-touch start button of the automatic transmission. The instrument panel of the automatic transmission lights up, and the vehicle starts. Place the automatic gear lever in the M position for manual mode. Push the gear lever forward once to increase a gear. Push the gear lever backward once to decrease a gear.
I usually drive my IZOA using the M mode, which is like manual control. After starting the vehicle, when in D mode, simply shift the gear lever to the M position. The dashboard will then display the current gear, such as 1 or 2. I can manually pull the gear lever up or down to shift gears, or use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel to press + for upshifting or - for downshifting. The key is to watch the tachometer: the ideal shifting point is between 2000-4000 RPM. Shifting up too early can cause the car to jerk, while downshifting too late can make the engine roar. I always switch to a lower gear when going downhill on mountain roads, as the engine helps with braking, making it easier. Occasionally, I downshift for faster acceleration when overtaking on the highway. Remember not to shift into a high gear at too low a speed, as it can lug the engine and damage the transmission. I rarely use it in city traffic jams, only practicing on less busy roads. Once familiar, the operation becomes smooth, doubling the driving fun while improving responsiveness and saving a bit on fuel.
