Don't do it. Seriously, pull over right now. That temperature gauge shooting up is your engine screaming. I’ve seen too many cars come into the shop where someone tried to drive just a few more blocks. The result is always a warped cylinder head and a repair bill that costs more than the car is worth. A tow truck is cheap compared to a new engine. Your goal is zero miles.
