Manual transmission fluid does need to be replaced. Under normal driving conditions, it should be changed approximately every 2 years or around 60,000 kilometers. Transmission fluid is a lubricant that maintains the cleanliness of the gear system, ensuring the proper functioning of the transmission and extending the lifespan of the transmission components. The replacement method is as follows: 1. Prepare an oil filling bucket and manual transmission fluid; 2. Pour the fluid into the oil filling bucket; 3. Use tools to unscrew the drain plug, and after the fluid has completely drained, reinstall and tighten the plug; 4. Unscrew the filler plug; 5. Place the filler into the filler hole and use the oil filling bucket to add transmission fluid; 6. Continue until fluid starts to leak from the hole; 7. Tighten the drain plug.
