I've always found the rear seat design of the Tiggo 7 Plus to be very practical. When folded down, it's not completely flat but has a slight incline of about 5 to 10 degrees. I've used it when taking friends camping in this car – just pull the handle on the back of the seat to easily fold it down, and the space immediately becomes much larger, perfectly accommodating a tent or several large boxes. However, don't expect it to serve as a flat bed for sleeping, as the incline can cause items to roll around, which is a bit annoying. After folding, there's still room to place luggage bags or pet cages in the passage, which is quite convenient. Next time you test drive it, remember to bring some heavy items to try it out and experience that flexibility while dealing with the not-completely-flat issue.

Can the rear seats lie flat? The Tiggo 7 Plus can fold down but not perfectly flat. From a design perspective, the seats typically fold in a 60:40 split ratio, leaving a slight incline when folded down, which doesn't affect daily loading of luggage or miscellaneous items. In car owner groups, I often see discussions about this—when folded flat, the space is sufficient for a folding bicycle or moving boxes. However, for safety, ensure objects don't block the rear window, affecting reversing visibility or air circulation, and prevent children from climbing around to avoid hazards. Try it yourself: just locate the seat release latch and pull to fold—no tools needed. The imperfect flatness is common in most SUVs and isn't a major issue.

The rear seats of the Chery Tiggo 7 Plus can be folded down, with a slight incline when fully flattened. The operation is simple: just pull a strap to fold them, creating more space for loading items. The inability to lie completely flat doesn't affect its practicality, making it convenient for carrying camping gear or shopping items.

I often take my family out in the Tiggo 7 Plus, and the rear seat folding feature is a hot topic. It can be folded down but not completely flat, with a slight slope. The operation is simple - just pull the handle to lower the seats. The expanded space can accommodate strollers or suitcases. It's sufficient for daily use, but remember to add padding when placing heavy items to prevent sliding. Also, be careful not to let dust get stuck in the gaps when cleaning the seats.

I've tested the rear seat folding function of the Tiggo 7 Plus multiple times. It can be folded down but with a slight incline. When using it yourself, first check the seat latch: a gentle pull is enough to fold it, avoid using excessive force to prevent damaging the lock. After folding, the space can accommodate large items like air conditioners or toolboxes, offering high practical convenience. However, the inability to fold completely flat isn't a flaw; it's a reasonable design considering driving safety. For long-term folding, regular maintenance of the leather or fabric is recommended.
