If your Emerson Sensi thermostat is showing a low battery indicator, here's how to change the batteries to keep your Wi-Fi connection active: First, gently remove the thermostat's faceplate using a small screwdriver to pry it loose. You'll find the battery compartment on the back of the faceplate. This Emerson Sensi model uses two AA Alkaline batteries for backup power. When the battery indicator on the display shows that it is time to replace the batteries, usually when the indicator bar reaches 3 bars, you can proceed with the replacement. Take out the old batteries, and put in two new AA Alkaline batteries, making sure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends align correctly. Finally, snap the faceplate back onto the thermostat. Replacing the batteries will help maintain your Wi-Fi connectivity and ensure your thermostat keeps working smoothly.
