Switching between self-leveling and manual modes on your UNI-T LM570LD-II laser level is straightforward. Here's how:
-
Self-Leveling Mode:
- Ensure the meter's pendulum is unlocked. This allows the device to automatically level itself.
- The laser line will flash rapidly, at a frequency of 2Hz, if the meter is outside its self-leveling working range (3°±1°). This indicates it's attempting to level.
- In self-leveling mode, you can use the full-time pulse function, which is useful when working with a laser receiver.
-
Manual Mode:
- Manual mode is enabled when the pendulum is locked after you turn the meter on.
- In this mode, you can set the laser line to any angle you need.
- Keep in mind that in manual mode, the laser line won't serve as a horizontal or vertical reference.
- To alert you that you're in manual mode, the laser line will flash every 5 seconds. This helps you confirm the current operational setting.
