The Milwaukee 2448-20 Cable Stapler features a built-in Fuel Gauge to help you monitor charge. When you power on the tool, the Fuel Gauge illuminates for 2-3 seconds, giving you a visual of the remaining power. If the battery is nearing depletion (less than 10% charge), one light on the Fuel Gauge will blink four times. When the battery is completely discharged, a single light will flash eight times, and the stapler will cease to operate, indicating the need for recharging. Furthermore, the Fuel Gauge lights will flash, and the tool will shut down if the battery overheats during use; allow the battery to cool down before resuming operation.
