To configure the current outputs on your PoolManager controller using the PM5-SA4 plug-in module, follow these steps:
- Access the configuration menu: Press the "Menu" hotkey on your PoolManager controller.
- Navigate to "Communication & Interfaces".
- Select "Current outputs 4-20mA".
- Choose the current output corresponding to your desired measurement. For instance, to configure the current output for pH, select "Current output pH".
- Within the selected measurement's submenu, you can adjust these parameters:
- Current output: This setting will depend on the specific measurement being configured, such as pH, Cl, Br, mV, O2, or T1.
- Minimum value (at 4 mA): Set the minimum value for your measurement range.
- Maximum value (at 20 mA): Set the maximum value for your measurement range.
Note that the current output is identified by the plug-in connector number (typically connector 1) and the current output number on the PM5-SA4 plug-in module. The default allocations are:
- Current output 1.1: pH
- Current output 1.2: Cl or Br
- Current output 1.3: mV or O2
- Current output 1.4: Temperature T1
The default minimum and maximum value settings are:
- pH: 0.00 pH to 10.00 pH
- Cl or Br: 0.00 mg/l to 10.00 mg/l
- mV: 0 mV to 1000 mV
- O2: 0 l to 10 l
- T1: 0°C to 50°C
Be sure to adjust these settings to match your desired measurement range. The minimum value corresponds to a 4 mA current signal, while the maximum value corresponds to a 20 mA current signal.
