Replacing the filament in your 3Doodler Create+ is straightforward. Here's a simple guide:
- Prepare the Pen: Ensure your 3Doodler Create+ is turned on and has reached its operating temperature. The status light will turn blue when it's ready.
- Activate Reverse Mode: Double-click either the fast or slow speed button. This engages the reverse function, which will retract the filament. The light will flash to indicate that the filament is being reversed.
- Remove the Old Filament: Once the reversing stops, gently pull the old plastic strand from the back of the pen.
- Dealing with Stubborn Filaments: If the filament is too short to reverse, use the unblocking tool (included with your 3Doodler). While the pen is heated, insert the tool through the front opening and gently push any remaining plastic out the back.
- Insert New Filament: Insert a new strand of 3Doodler filament into the filament loading port at the back of the pen.
- Ready to Doodler: Wait for the pen to heat up again; the light will turn blue. Then, start extruding the new filament by clicking either the fast or slow speed button. Refer to the 3Doodler Create+ instruction manual for more detailed instructions and troubleshooting advice.
