Maintaining your Keurig K- Plus is key for great-tasting coffee. Here's how to clean the different parts:
Exterior: Wipe the outside of the Keurig K-Mini Plus with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh cleaners or submerging the brewer in water.
Water Reservoir: Remove and clean the water reservoir regularly with a damp, non-abrasive cloth. Rinse thoroughly and let it air dry completely. Avoid using a cloth inside the reservoir to prevent lint.
Drip Tray: Empty and clean the drip tray frequently, as it can hold up to 8 ounces of overflow. Slide the tray out, clean with a damp cloth, and replace.
K-Cup Pod Holder: Lift the handle and remove the K-Cup pod holder by pushing up from the bottom. Clean, then align it with the opening using the front ribs as guides, and snap it back into place.
Funnel: Wash the funnel regularly. Remove it from the pod holder, clean, and reattach by aligning the snaps.
Exit Needle: With the pod holder assembly removed, detach the funnel and use a straightened paper clip to clear any coffee grounds from the exit needle located on the inside bottom of the pod holder.
Entrance Needle: Lift the brewer handle and find the entrance needle under the lid. Use a straightened paper clip to clear both holes in the needle. Then, lower the handle and run two brew cycles with just water, without a K-Cup pod.
Regular cleaning ensures your Keurig K-Mini Plus continues to perform well. For visual guides, consult your Keurig K-Mini Plus user manual.
