Mounting your Polk Audio DB572 marine speakers involves either a flush mount or surface mount approach. Here's how to do it:

Flush Mount Installation:

1. Mark the center of where you want to mount the tweeter and use a hole saw, drill bit, or razor knife to cut a 2" (50.8mm) diameter hole.
2. Assemble the flush mount cup, clamp, and the provided machine screws loosely.
3. Run the speaker wires through the round opening at the bottom of the cup.
4. Insert the assembly into the 2" (50.8mm) hole until the clamp edge is below the mounting surface. Then, tighten the screws. You can bend the clamp legs outward by inserting a screwdriver through the cup's holes while it's mounted.
5. Connect the wires from the tweeter terminals of the crossover to the tweeter itself using the faston connectors. Match the red wire from the (+) terminal of the crossover tweeter output to the red (+) wire on the tweeter.
