Installing the GELID Liquid 240 CPU cooler on an Intel LGA115X motherboard involves a few key steps. First, prepare your motherboard by ensuring you have the Intel Back Plate Kit that comes with the cooler. Then, carefully install the back plate onto the rear of your motherboard, aligning it with the mounting holes around the CPU socket. Next, apply the thermal paste (often pre-applied on the cooler) to the CPU, and carefully place the pump block on top. Secure the pump block to the motherboard using the provided mounting screws. Connect the pump's power cable to the PUMP header on your motherboard. If your cooler has ARGB lighting, connect the Fan/Pump 3-Pin ARGB Cable to the appropriate header for lighting control. After securing the CPU block, mount the radiator inside your computer case, ensuring optimal airflow. Attach the fans to the radiator and connect their power connectors to the motherboard or a fan controller. Always refer to the GELID Liquid 240's manual for specific instructions and diagrams relevant to your motherboard model. Double-check all connections to make sure everything is securely in place. If you have any doubts, consult the GELID Solutions website or contact their customer support for assistance.
