Setting up your Browning Defender Wireless Pro Scout Cell Camera for the first time is straightforward. Here’s a step-by-step guide to get you started: First, insert a quality SD card (8GB-512GB) into the SD card slot. Then, install eight AA Alkaline or Lithium batteries in the tray, paying close attention to the correct polarity, and slide the tray into the closed position. Next, download the free Strike Force Wireless app from the App Store or Google Play on your iOS or Android device. Within the app, create a new user account by following the on-screen prompts. After this, power on your Browning camera by pressing the Mode "M" button to access the setup menu. Select either ATT or Verizon as your cellular carrier and confirm your choice. To connect your camera to the app, a QR code will appear on the camera's display. Open the Strike Force Wireless app, choose "ADD CAMERA," and scan the QR code with your mobile device. In the app, select your preferred camera plan and activate your new camera, which usually takes about 5 minutes. To ensure everything is working correctly, perform a cellular test by powering on your camera, taking a test picture, and entering the setup menu. Select the LTE Test function to confirm a successful connection with a cell tower and the transmission of images to your Strike Force Wireless account. Finally, familiarize yourself with the camera settings by pressing the Mode button to navigate the menu. Adjust settings such as Operation Mode, Capture Delay, Photo and Video Quality, Multi-Shot Mode, IR Flash Power, and Trigger Speed to your liking. Use the Strike Force Wireless app to view images, manage camera settings, upload HD images, organize thumbnails, and monitor your plan usage. Remember, your Browning Trail Camera comes with a one-year limited warranty. For troubleshooting or warranty service, contact Customer Service.
