Wiring your Hunter -Clik rain sensor to your irrigation system controller involves a few key steps, ensuring your system conserves water by automatically shutting off during rain. First, for systems using 24-volt solenoid valves (and no booster pump), disconnect the common ground wire of the solenoid valves from the controller. Then, attach one wire from the Mini-Clik to the common terminal on the controller. Connect the other wire from the Mini-Clik to the common wire that runs to your irrigation valves. If it's difficult to interrupt the common wire at the controller, you can wire the Mini-Clik anywhere along the common wire line. Always ensure that your wiring complies with the National Electrical Code or any applicable local codes. If your controller uses 110- or 220-volt circuits, consult with your distributor or the manufacturer for specific instructions. Remember, the Hunter Mini-Clik is designed for use with 24 VAC circuits only. For detailed diagrams and further assistance, always refer to the Hunter Mini-Clik installation guide provided with your product or contact a professional.
