Switching between forehead and object measurement modes on the Veroval Baby Infrared Thermometer is straightforward. You'll find a mode switch located on the side of the thermometer. To take a forehead temperature reading, make sure the mode switch is set to the forehead mode position. This mode is designed for measuring body temperatures within a range of 34.0°C to 42.2°C. For measuring the surface temperature of objects, simply move the mode switch down towards the object symbol. In object mode, the thermometer can measure temperatures from 0°C to 100°C. For the most accurate readings, always maintain the correct measuring distance of 3 cm to 5 cm between the Veroval thermometer and the skin or object. Also, allow the thermometer to adjust to room temperature before taking object mode readings.
