Defrosting your Beko FSA13030N upright freezer is a straightforward process. First, ensure safety by unplugging the freezer from the power outlet. Next, remove all food items and store them temporarily in a cooler, packed with insulation, to maintain their temperature. To expedite the defrosting, leave the freezer door open and consider placing containers of warm water (not exceeding 80°C) inside; this helps melt the ice more quickly. Avoid using any sharp objects, such as knives or forks, to scrape off ice, as this could damage the freezer. Never use electrical appliances like hairdryers or heaters for defrosting. Once the ice has melted, thoroughly dry the interior. Clean the inside of the freezer with a solution of one teaspoon of baking soda in one pint of water, using a damp cloth. Finally, ensure the interior is completely dry before plugging the freezer back in. For optimal performance, it is recommended to defrost your Beko FSA13030N at least twice a year, or when a significant ice build-up is observed.
