Setting up your Maytronics Dolphin Wave 50 for the first time is easy. Here's a step-by-step guide to get you started: First, completely unwind the Dolphin Wave 50's cable, ensuring there are no kinks. Next, connect the floating cable to the power supply, aligning the connector's notch with the socket's groove and turning clockwise. Before using, remove any protective plastic coverings from the cleaner. Now, adjust the handle angle to control the waterline movement; press the latch, move the handle to your preferred position, and release the latch. Positions 1 and 2 offer a normal advance for optimal waterline cleaning, while positions 3 and 4 provide a faster, though less efficient, waterline cleaning. If the foam climbing rings appear dry, soak them in water until they soften. Finally, to eliminate trapped air, gently shake the robot or turn it upside down to allow it to sink to the pool floor, and then power it on to begin its cleaning cycle. Following these steps ensures your Maytronics Dolphin Wave 50 is ready for its initial cleaning run.
