Low Battery Indicators:
- LED Flashing: The LED on the Outdoor Contact will flash whenever the device is activated (opened or closed) when the battery is low.
- LED Illumination: The LED will also light up when the Outdoor Contact is activated under a low battery status.
- Functionality Failure: If the battery is completely exhausted, the Outdoor Contact will cease all operations, and the LED will flash every 4 seconds.
Battery Replacement Steps:
Once you've identified that the battery needs replacing, follow these steps:
- Remove the protective cover and the battery cover.
- Unscrew the battery cover and remove the old batteries.
- Press the Tamper Switch twice to fully discharge any residual power.
- Insert fresh AA L91 Lithium batteries into the battery compartment.
- Replace the battery cover, screwing it back in place.
- Reattach the protective cover by aligning it correctly and pressing until you hear a click.
