Haval H7 is a mid-size SUV under Great Wall Motors. The current 2021 model was launched in September 2020. Based on the previous model updates of Haval H7, the upcoming new Haval H7 may undergo a complete redesign, with an expected launch time in 2022. In terms of exterior design, since the current Haval H7's appearance has been used for many years, the new model might feature significant changes. The front grille is likely to adopt a brand-new style with increased dimensions, paired with sharper headlight clusters, creating a more sporty and sophisticated visual appeal. The body lines will be more dynamic, aligning better with the aesthetic preferences of younger consumers. Interior modifications will also be noticeable. The cabin may be equipped with a more tech-savvy floating central touchscreen or possibly the latest popular dual-screen design. Combined with neatly arranged physical buttons and symmetrically designed air vents, the overall interior will better cater to contemporary consumer tastes.

As a car enthusiast, I've been keeping up with Haval's developments and feel like the H7 has been discontinued for quite some time. Haval is now focusing on its new energy series, such as the H6 HEV and the Coffee family, which are selling like hotcakes and taking up a lot of resources. The mid-size SUV market is changing rapidly, and I see new forces like the BYD Song PLUS stealing the spotlight. Haval might not want to invest heavily in old platforms. However, the H7 still has a decent reputation, and fans are looking forward to a new release. I've heard internal rumors that the H series will be fully electrified, so there might be an H7 EV version next year, equipped with new batteries and smart driving technology. Overall, the probability is about 50%. I'd recommend keeping an eye on the official website or auto shows and not rushing to place an order.

I've been driving for over a decade and remember the H7 being quite popular when it first came out—spacious and durable. But there hasn't been much news about it in recent years, as Haval has shifted focus to iterating the H6. From a brand strategy perspective, models that don't sell well tend to get discontinued, and the H7's sales have been mediocre, right? I doubt there will be a direct new version; it might get upgraded to hybrid or rebranded into a new series. Considering competitors like the Toyota Highlander are pushing into new energy vehicles, Haval needs to keep up with the trend. Personally, I'd wait for an official announcement but wouldn't get my hopes up. If you're looking to change cars, maybe check out Haval's new Dragon series.

From a family user's perspective, I've used the H7 when taking my kids out. It's spacious and comfortable but the design is outdated. I asked if there's a new model, but I think it's unlikely. Haval's focus is on new energy vehicles and their best-selling SUVs, and updating the H7 would be costly. Related topic: My neighbor just bought an H6 PHEV and says it's fuel-efficient and practical. As an ordinary car owner, I'd suggest not waiting for a new H7 and instead looking at other Haval models or competitors.

I'm obsessed with automotive technology. The H7's engine follows a traditional gasoline car architecture, which can't keep up with the electric wave. Haval is developing new platforms like the Lemon DHT, and might directly integrate the H7 into the new series. From a technical perspective: battery supply is unstable, so updates will have to wait. I speculate there will be a hybrid version next year, but not a traditional gasoline model.

As a Haval fan, I've noticed the H7 has been quiet for a long time. At the auto show, the salesperson mentioned the brand is focusing on new energy. Perhaps the H7 will be reborn under a new name, like other models. I'm looking forward to the brand announcing its plans and will keep an eye on updates.

Why is there a large gap on one side of the trunk?

Vehicle trunk having one side with a larger gap is an issue with the vehicle's installation and assembly process. Such situations are relatively rare, and the impact on the vehicle is merely that when parked in areas with a lot of dust, the side with the larger gap will allow dust to enter the car. Items typically fixed in the trunk: Include a fire extinguisher, warning triangle, reflective vest, and tools for tire removal. When using the trunk in daily life: Avoid storing items for extended periods or placing heavy items, as this can affect the vehicle's suspension. Additionally, flammable or explosive items should not be stored in the trunk.

What is a car HUD head-up display?

Car HUD head-up display is a heads-up display, which was initially used as a flight aid instrument in aircraft and later applied to automobiles. Simply put, it allows drivers to reduce the frequency of looking down at the dashboard, thereby avoiding interruptions in attention and lowering the probability of accidents. The principle of car HUD is to use optical reflection to project important driving data onto the windshield. This involves two structures: data processing and image display. Currently, this configuration is more commonly found in high-end cars, while many mid-to-low-end vehicles still lack it. However, it can also be achieved through aftermarket modifications.
