My Honda Civic Si has 150,000 miles and feels tighter and more fun than any Toyota I’ve driven. Yes, I’m more attentive to its turbo and transmission, but that’s part of the relationship. It’s engaging. A Toyota might outlast it on paper, but will you be bored of it first? For me, longevity includes daily enjoyment. Honda builds that in without sacrificing core reliability.
