For vehicles with built-in or aftermarket explosion-proof film, since the film contains metal ions that may interfere with microwave communication signals, the ETC should be installed on the microwave sunroof strip or a rectangular area of 8 to 10 centimeters should be cut out of the explosion-proof film; 5. If the car windshield is too thick or has been modified, it may cause ETC signal transmission failure, and professional assistance from a repair shop should be sought.
