The fuel filler port for the GAC Toyota Corolla CVT transmission is located under the hood, inside the engine compartment, between the left side of the engine and the small coolant reservoir. Introduction to gasoline: Gasoline is a volatile, flammable liquid hydrocarbon mixture distilled and cracked from petroleum, used as fuel. Important characteristics of gasoline: Inside the engine cylinder, gasoline must rapidly vaporize and form a uniform combustible mixture with air, which is primarily determined by the gasoline's own volatility. The main indicators reflecting volatility are distillation range and saturated vapor pressure.

I've driven many Corolla models before, from older generations to the latest ones, and the fuel filler cap is usually on the passenger side. When you get in the car, check the dashboard—there's a small arrow next to the fuel gauge icon. If the arrow points to the right, it means the fuel filler is on the right side of the car. This design is super practical—no need to step out to check. Newer Corollas all have it on the right, while the older 9th-gen models might have it on the left, though those are rare now. Also, remember to park with the right side close to the fuel pump so opening the fuel cap is easier, and you can quickly glance at the recommended tire pressure values on the cap for easier daily maintenance.

Is the dual-clutch transmission in the Sonata 10 dry or wet?

The transmission in the Hyundai 10th-generation Sonata is a dry dual-clutch transmission. The 10th-generation Sonata comes with two types of transmissions: an 8-speed automatic manual transmission and a 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission. Specifically, the 2.0T model is equipped with the 8-speed automatic manual transmission, while the 1.5T model features the 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission. There is no wet dual-clutch transmission option. The main difference between dry and wet dual-clutch transmissions is that the wet type has internal oil, with the friction plates immersed in the oil, whereas the dry type has its friction plates exposed to the air. Both dry and wet dual-clutch transmissions were first introduced to the market by Volkswagen. All of Volkswagen's entry-level brand models prioritize the use of either dry or wet dual-clutch transmissions.

What causes the car engine warning light to come on and the throttle to lose power?

The following are the reasons why the engine warning light comes on and the throttle loses power: 1. Poor quality gasoline. Substandard gasoline leads to incomplete combustion of the air-fuel mixture during engine operation, causing the engine warning light to illuminate. 2. Oxygen sensor failure. A damaged or loose oxygen sensor or its connector results in an overly lean or rich air-fuel mixture, triggering the warning light. 3. Airflow sensor malfunction. A faulty airflow sensor or wiring prevents the ECU from receiving accurate intake air signals, leading to improper fuel control and affecting normal engine operation. 4. Spark plug carbon buildup. Carbon deposits on spark plugs cause poor engine performance, resulting in difficulties starting, unstable idling, poor acceleration, backfiring during sudden acceleration, excessive exhaust emissions, and increased fuel consumption. 5. Engine misfire. An engine misfire leads to high fuel consumption, poor acceleration, and engine stalling.

What happens if you use 92 octane gasoline in a car that recommends 95 octane?

Using 92 octane gasoline in a car that recommends 95 octane can cause engine knocking. Knocking refers to an abnormal combustion condition where some of the air-fuel mixture ignites prematurely before being sparked by the spark plug during the compression stroke, creating multiple flame fronts in the combustion chamber. Relevant information about gasoline octane ratings is as follows: 1. The gasoline octane rating represents the ratio of the actual gasoline's anti-knock performance to that of standard gasoline. The higher the octane number, the stronger the anti-knock performance. 2. There are two methods for evaluating gasoline's anti-knock performance: the Motor Method and the Research Method. The Motor Method specifies more stringent test conditions than the Research Method, resulting in lower measured anti-knock performance, while the Research Method yields relatively higher anti-knock performance measurements.

How to turn off auto?

Method to turn off auto: Locate the auto mode button on the vehicle's air conditioning control panel and press it lightly to deactivate the auto air conditioning mode. Auto refers to automatic air conditioning, which means the vehicle can automatically adjust the air conditioning temperature and airflow based on the current ambient temperature, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. Some cars may have the word "auto" on the windows or door panels, which actually refers to an automatic car, as "auto" in English can also mean car or automatic. Auto on windows: Once activated, pressing the window switch once will automatically open or close the window without the need to hold the button.
