Where is the ATS air conditioning filter located?

ATS air conditioning filter is located inside the glove box on the passenger side. The general operation steps are: open the glove box, remove the protective panel, remove the CD player, and then you can see the air conditioning filter. The following is the disassembly and installation method of the Cadillac ATSL air conditioning filter: 1. First, remove the buckle located at the front of the passenger side in the engine compartment, and then take out the sound insulation cotton. Be careful to avoid damaging the buckle. 2. Take out the filter. After taking out the sound insulation cotton, reach in and remove the baffle, then reach in again to take out the air conditioning filter. It should be noted that there is an arrow indication on the outside of the filter, and avoid installing it backwards during reinstallation.
As an ordinary driver who has been driving for several years, I remember that the cabin air filter of the Cadillac ATS is located behind the glove compartment in front of the passenger seat. You need to open the glove compartment, and there are usually buttons on both sides. Press them gently to remove the entire compartment, then you will see a plastic cover. Unscrew the screws or simply pull open the clips to reveal the filter housing. Pull it out and replace it with a new one. I’ve changed it myself a few times, and it only takes about ten minutes each time—no need to go to a repair shop, saving money and hassle. The filter location isn’t too hard to find; beginners just need to try a couple of times to get the hang of it. Regularly replacing the filter is important. I have kids at home, and after changing it, the air in the car feels much fresher, without any stuffiness or dust smell. I recommend replacing it every six months or 10,000 kilometers to keep the AC running efficiently.
