Changing the air filter for the Tayron by yourself is actually quite simple, it's located behind the glove compartment on the passenger side. First, open the glove compartment and remove all the items inside. You'll notice plastic clips on both sides of the compartment; pressing them inward simultaneously allows you to lower the entire glove compartment. At this point, the rectangular cover panel behind it becomes visible. Use your fingernails to pry open the clips on both sides and remove the cover panel, where the old white filter is housed. When replacing, always remember the direction of the arrow on the filter; usually, it should be installed with the arrow pointing downward. Last time I changed it, I took the opportunity to wipe down the accumulated dust in the air ducts with a damp cloth, and the airflow felt much fresher afterward. Buying the filter yourself costs only about fifty yuan, while a dealership would charge you three times that amount!

As an owner of three Volkswagens, mastering the location of the Tayron's cabin air filter is essential. It's hidden behind the glove compartment panel on the passenger side. Open the glove box and apply some downward pressure until you hear a click, indicating the clips have released. Then fully lower the glove box to reveal a plastic cover with clips. Pry open the cover to find the filter seated in its slot. Pro tip: Take a photo of the old filter's orientation before replacement—my cousin installed it backwards last time, causing AC odor. Opt for activated carbon filters; they're especially friendly for pollen allergy sufferers.

I remember last time the mechanic at the maintenance shop showed me how to locate the air conditioning filter in the Tayron. First, adjust the front passenger seat forward a bit, then open the glove box and press both sides of the bottom inward with both hands—the entire glove box will drop down. Behind it, there's a palm-sized cover plate; pry open the three plastic clips to reveal the filter compartment. When removing the old filter, be careful not to let leaf debris fall into the air ducts. When installing the new filter, make sure the arrow mark points toward the rear of the car. It's recommended to replace the filter every 10,000 kilometers, especially in northern areas with heavy dust and sand, where more frequent changes are necessary.

Just replaced the air conditioning filter for my Tiguan, located right behind the glove box. After emptying the glove box contents, press the side limiters to remove the box, then gently pry open the black cover to access the filter. Key point: Be sure to replace it before using the AC in summer, as winter heating can bake the filter and cause a musty smell. Prepare a flashlight before starting—it helps in dim corners. Don't get the size wrong; the Mann CU30019 model fits the Tiguan perfectly. The whole process takes just five minutes, and even a woman can do it independently.

My neighbor always asks me to help with car maintenance, and I can locate the air filter position of the Tayron with my eyes closed. It's inside the glove compartment right in front of the passenger's knee. After removing the rear panel of the compartment, you'll find it behind. The clip design is quite fragile, so avoid prying it hard with a screwdriver. I usually replace the filter every six months, especially before the rainy season to prevent mold in the AC. When buying filters online, make sure they have PM2.5 filtration function – especially important for families with smokers or babies. After replacement, remember to reset the glove compartment; you'll know it's securely installed when you hear two clicks.
