When a car suddenly loses air, the primary task is to replace the spare tire. If there is no spare tire, call for roadside assistance or mobile tire repair services. Do not continue driving on a flat tire as it will cause significant wear to the tire and severely impact the wheel rim. Below are the steps for replacing a spare tire: 1. Park the car and engage the parking brake firmly to prevent the car from moving forward or backward. 2. Use a wrench to loosen the nuts on the flat tire one by one. Normally, turning counterclockwise loosens the nuts. Just loosen them; there's no need to remove them completely. 3. For the jack, first locate the steel support point near the flat tire. Do not place the jack under the lower edge of the door. This support point is usually about 10 cm from the outer edge. Ensure it is on the steel frame of the car, then place the jack underneath. 4. Raise the jack, ensuring it remains upright during the process. Avoid tilting; otherwise, lower the car and try again. 5. Once the flat tire is off the ground, stop raising the jack and use the wrench to remove the loosened nuts one by one. 6. Hold the flat tire with both hands and pull it off with force. If it doesn't come off easily, you can kick the outer edge of the tire to loosen the entire wheel, then remove it. 7. Hold the spare tire and align it with the wheel rim. Make sure the bolt holes on the tire match those on the rim. This may take some time, so be patient. 8. Next, hand-tighten the nuts onto the bolts, then use the wrench to tighten each nut fully. Do not apply excessive force; just ensure they are fully tightened. 9. After all the nuts are fully tightened, slowly lower the jack.
