The range of the Honda 400x is 450km. 2021 Honda CB400X: It is an adventure motorcycle launched by Honda Wing, with dimensions of 2085mm in length, 830mm in width, and 1370mm in height, and a seat height of 807mm. The 2021 Honda CB400X is equipped with an inline twin-cylinder, four-stroke, liquid-cooled 400cc engine, delivering a maximum power of 33kw and a maximum torque of 37nm, paired with an international 6-speed transmission. The curb weight of the motorcycle is 195kg, and the fuel tank capacity is 16.5 liters. Fuel consumption calculation method: First, fill the vehicle's fuel tank completely, then reset the odometer or record the current mileage information. After using the vehicle for a period of time, refuel again. The amount of fuel added divided by the mileage between the two refueling instances multiplied by 100 gives the vehicle's fuel consumption. The Honda CB400X has a fuel consumption of approximately 5 to 6 liters per 100 kilometers, with a fuel tank capacity of 16.5 liters.

I recently took my Honda 400X for a trip to Yunnan and found its range quite impressive. According to official data, with a fuel tank capacity of around 17 liters and an average fuel consumption of approximately 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers, it can easily cover 350 to 400 kilometers on a full tank. However, when driving faster on the highway, the fuel consumption jumps above 5 liters, reducing the range to around 320 kilometers. On mountainous roads with lots of uphill climbs, it can only last a little over 300 kilometers. From experience, the heavier the load, the shorter the range, so I try to travel light on long trips. Before filling up, I check the map and plan gas station stops within 250 kilometers for safety and peace of mind.

As a frequent motorcycle rider, I've tested the Honda 400X's range several times. The fuel tank typically holds 17 liters, with an official fuel consumption of 4 liters per 100 kilometers, theoretically allowing a range of 425 kilometers. However, real-world conditions introduce many variables. For instance, at speeds exceeding 100 km/h, increased wind resistance raises fuel consumption to 5 liters, reducing the range to around 340 kilometers. In urban traffic with frequent stops and starts, the range can drop below 380 kilometers. I recommend regularly checking tire pressure and air filters, as these details can improve fuel efficiency, helping to maintain a stable range above 370 kilometers. Planning your trip before refueling is more reliable.

If you feel the vibration of the motor working but the mirror does not move, it proves that the opening and closing gear mechanism is damaged; if you do not feel the vibration of the motor working, and there is still none after tapping it a few times, it indicates a motor failure or wiring issue. Wiring issues are generally caused by a damaged switch or fuse, and it is recommended to go to a repair shop for inspection.
